Assessor Training Direct aims to deliver comprehensive professional training, to support our clients when and where required, and to resolve any problems or difficulties encountered, wherever practicable.
All courses must be paid for in advance. Trainee Assessors will be registered with our Awarding Body (OCR) when payment has been received for the course.
Unless other arrangements are made by exception, the course fees include: Awarding Body Registration Fees, Centre Admin Fees, Training, Portfolio, and, Guidance and Support through to qualification. The course fee does not include: provision of candidates or the Independent Assessor (the latter is required to observe the second assessment), training premises or equipment, or travel. Following the initial classroom training it is the responsibility of the trainee to organise assessments, and to complete the course.
On completion of the Portfolio of Evidence the Portfolio must be submitted to ATD, where it will be checked before onward delivery and submission to OCR for scrutiny and the award of the A1 certificate. When the Certificate is received by ATD it will be forwarded onto the Assessor (formerly the trainee Assessor). The Portfolio of Evidence will be held by the Centre until it is released by the Awarding Body External Verifier.
Trainees are strongly advised to make copies of all documentation, and to use Recorded Delivery when posting Portfolios.
Assessor Training Direct operates as an Associate of A1Assessment Ltd, an Approved OCR Centre.
